DAMAGE TO CABIN/PROPERTY OF CABIN
* Should you or your guests cause any damage to the cabin or the belongings inside there will be a charged of replacement / repair to your credit card.
* All linens are supplied for our guest, however should any linens be found stained or damaged there will be a charge applied to your credit card at the time of check out.
* Resort towels are for unit use only. Any damage to towels will be charged $30 per towel
* No unit towels on beach
RESORT RULES
* Please note that each unit has a maximum occupancy limit in place for the comfort and safety of all guests. Should this limit be exceeded, $100.00/night/person will apply.
* Registered guests only on the Beach area.
* No noise after 11pm
* One parking lot per stay. Other vehicles will have to find road parking.
* Parking pass must be on vehicle at all times
* Be mindful and park in your designated parking stall
* Boat trailer parking to be approved by staff. Violators will be towed.
PRIVACY OF INFORMATION
* All of the information that you provide DAVIS COVE RESORT is NOT shared. This information includes your first and last name, address, email address, phone number and credit card information. This information STAYS with DAVIS COVE RESORT.
CHECK IN / CHECK OUT
* CHECK IN: 4:00pm. Should you arrive early please check in with the office to see if we are able to accommodate an early check in to your cabin.
* CHECK OUT: 10:00am. We ask that you respect this time as our cleaning staff is on a turnaround time that needs to be followed.
* A check list of check out procedures is included in the resort binder that will be in your cabin upon check in. We ask that these duties are done prior to check out to avoid any extra room charges.
* DAVIS COVE RESORT is a keyless resort. This means that all cabins are equipped with a pin pad on the front door. You will be provided with a 4 digit door code that is unique to your cabin for the duration of your stay. Your door code will be deleted from the cabin upon check out for security reasons.
CLEANING
* Davis Cove Resort requires a $139 cleaning fee which will be added to your total invoice during booking
LAUNDRY
* We have on site coin laundry which requires 2 loonies per machine. The facility is open from 8am to 4pm daily
* For guests staying over 7 days we do a towel exchange on Tuesday mornings. You will have to put your towels in the provided laundry bag in your cabin and leave it outside your cabin door by 10am if you would like this service
PETS
* Pets are not allowed (exception for service animals)
* Should you neglect our pet policy you will be charged $500
SMOKING
* Smoking (including vaping) is not permitted in the cabins or on the beach
* We ask that you smoke cannabis off the property as the smell disturbs some guests
* Smoking is allowed on your personal cabin patio but please close the screen door to keep smoke out of the cabin
* Any evidence or smell of smoke in the cabin will result in a fine and deep cleaning fee of $250
THE BEACH
* No glass is permitted on the beach, this includes glass bottles and cups
* No smoking on the beach
* There is no lifeguard on duty
* All activities on the property you partake in are at your own risk
* No bringing large tents or cabanas to the beach or reserving loungers for the duration of your stay
Payment Policy
It is the guest's responsibility to know and understand our deposit and cancellation policies. Please review them carefully.
Deposit Policy
* Upon booking, a deposit of 30% of your accommodation total is required. The balance owing will be charged 30 days prior to check in. Please be advised that the credit card on file will be charged for the balance owing, unless otherwise instructed.
* We accept Visa / Mastercard
Cancellation Policy
* Cancellations received 30 days or more in advance of the reserved check in date are subject to 30% of the accommodation total as a cancellation fee. Cancellations received within 30 days are subject to 100% of the accommodation total as a cancellation fee.
**Davis Cove Resort reserves the right to these policies as for lost revenue for short notice cancellations**
